Project room : Mégane Voghell

Galerie Nicolas Robert is pleased to announce the inauguration of its Project room, a new exhibition room that runs alongside our main program. In this new space, we will present smaller-scale exhibitions aimed at providing an additional platform for Quebec visual artists. This space will allow us to increase the number of exhibitions presented and thus compensate for the exhibition opportunities cancelled due to the pandemic.
We are therefore proud to inaugurate this new space with an exhibition by Mégane Voghell. With a background in media arts and photography, Mégane Voghell technically specializes in image editing. She uses video, drawing, installation and literary correspondence to deploy multiple stagings that reflect the condition of bodies in the hypermedia era. The narrative devices she uses take a critical look at the seductive power of the image and representation of living things, their ways of being in the world and their traces.
