Galerie Nicolas Robert is pleased to present Poor Healer, a solo exhibition by Montreal artist Jérôme Nadeau. The work presented for this occasion develops around a series of investigations examining the status of the photographic image in relation to its materiality and the inherent qualities located at the intersection of the mediums. Mixing the exploration of various technical approaches through a methodology of comprehensive research and accumulation, each image is both a source of information and raw material. Links suggest that something elliptical plays in the making and circulation of images, leaving behind indicative traces of themselves, like two mirrors facing each other and reflecting to infinity.
